As founder of FourSynergy Group and Fairhome Property Group, John is instrumental in changing and improving the provision of supported living accommodation and support across the UK, delivering over £800m of institutional investment funding, driving up quality, and transforming the lives of thousands of vulnerable people across the UK.
John has a wealth of experience drawn from a 40-year career in the construction and residential property development industry and has in-depth knowledge of the operational and financial aspects of the sector.
John’s career began in construction, progressing from a small local building services firm to project managing larger new-build residential and commercial development schemes. He moved into property investment to develop and structure residential portfolios for investors and investment consortiums, developing strong negotiation, asset management and financial management expertise.
In 2010 John began a ‘social impact’ housing provision, bringing significant investment and growth into the emerging sector, attracting some of the first large-scale institutional investment.
John brings a deep understanding of the varied interests and priorities of the key stakeholders including care commissioners, local authorities, registered providers, investors, and regulators. John is passionate about the continued evolution and improvement of the sector to deliver even greater social impact.
