responsibilities
FourSynergy is embarking on the ESG journey, creating a framework for reporting on our performance – because we understand that ‘how’ we do business is as important as ‘what’ we do.
We believe in operating responsibly, sustainably and in line with our values. This is key to building a successful business over the long term. We recognise our responsibilities to our customers, employees, suppliers, regulators, investors and the wider communities we serve.
Being sustainable means building strong relationships with our stakeholders and taking into account the issues that matter to them. The provision of social care and housing affects us all therefore we are committed to taking our responsibilities seriously.
Our strategy BetterPlanet has been formed to end our contribution to climate change and ensure our mission embraces opportunity for enhancing the quality of life for the communities we serve. BetterPlanet guides our efforts on reducing Group wide carbon emissions, protecting nature, and eliminating waste in our business operations. Since launch, we’ve been working behind the scenes and on site to make sure we reduce the carbon footprint across the Group.
Working with sector specialists we’re planning frameworks and targets and will be busy internally with our partners across the Group to reach those targets.
BetterPlanet sets out a number of FourSynergy’s future facing commitments including:
We are building an inclusive organisation that prioritises wellbeing and invests in learning and career development to prepare our colleagues for the future of work. We are focused on ensuring the Group becomes:
We uphold high standards of corporate governance to ensure we meet our responsibilities to society.
The Board aims to promote long-term success, deliver sustainable value to stakeholders and promote a culture of openness and debate.
We are currently working on our frameworks for a wide range of information on our performance in relation to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
